Let me start out by saying that I had never been to a reflexology practitioner. I also have a current foot injury that has me walking in a stabilization boot. This boot creates a very uneven walking pattern. This affects most of the pelvic girdle and most of my lower back.

I first saw Holly before she had her training on a new way to work on her clients. This was quite an experience and Holly did some wonderful things for me that day. I was able to walk easier because I was more in balance in the hip and my neck and shoulders were not carrying so much tension from stress in my life and a long term injury in my neck.

When I saw Holly after new training... it was like the first time was just a foot massage and this was total body immersion.

I felt the difference immediately and have NEVER been so relaxed. There were times I was actually asleep! When she finished, I felt as if I had had a full nights rest, not just sleep, but rest.

My neck was not stiff, my legs and hips were great and I could bend and turn without pain. The best part was I felt like this for several days afterward!

If you have seen Holly before her training, you will want to see her now. If you have never had reflexology please give this experience a chance, the relief is truly wonderful and worth the time invested. You will feel rejuvenated!

When Holly lived in Alaska, I would see her for treatments on a regular basis for everything from massages to acupressure, to reflexology.  Since her move to Olympia, she has not been so easily accessible to me.  But I was recently afforded a trip where I had the opportunity to receive yet another wonderful reflexology session from her.  I truly enjoy each and every session I've ever had with Holly - and this one was just as wonderful!  With her gifts of intuition combined with her extensive knowledge of reflexology, accupressure, and massage - I always walk away with happy feet, and a happy body.

Holly is a natural-born healer, who honors and respects my privacy - and I can not seem to find anyone to replace her up here in Alaska. I can't thank you enough, Holly, for all the years of nurturing.  My feet really miss you!! (as do I)

We have been visiting Holly regularly for about six months for a variety of neck, back, and leg ailments.  With her mastery of accupressure, massage, and reflexology she always manages to provide relaxation and restore vitality.  She has introduced us to some wonderful essential oils and even sent some for home use.  Her pleasant nature and obvious concern for client's wellbeing is an added bonus.  We are very clearly pleased to have come in contact with Holly.

Spring 2010

My left foot was hurting badly.  My primary care specialist recommended  a foot specialist because of the nerve damage to my toes.  Decades of jogging had wreaked their toll.  I wasn’t happy.  Married into a family of doctors I was naturally skeptical of “alternative” methodology.

In desperation I turned to Holly thinking, “what have I got to lose”.

Two months later the pain is gone.  I can work out at the gym again on the treadmill. Golf is a pleasure. I don’t understand…..but I’m a believer.

Thanks Holly, I’m a new person.

I have been Ms. Holly Glennon’s client for almost five years.  When I was seven months pregnant, I found Ms. Glennon through a friend who had just given a birth.  I was bothered by my lower backache and lack of sleep, as well as chronically being tired.  I was also very nervous about giving birth to my first child.

Ms. Glennon’s bi-weekly pre-natal massages helped relieving the backache.  More than anything, her warm, open-minded, sympathetic ways of consulting with me before and after the massage session gave me peace of mind and chance to discuss with her exactly what I was experiencing with my body each time. Through those consultations, I was able to understand her philosophy and we built trust.  I always looked forward the appointments.

I soon learned that she was also offering the during-the-child-birth massage and I asked her to be at my labor.  This was the best thing I could ever do to ease the intensity and pain of the labor.  Ms. Glennon’s support and guidance on the day of the childbirth really comforted me in the labor room.  She was my “doula” and having the person whom I could trust to know exactly how to relieve my pain was just amazing!  With her knowledge and prior experience as a nurse in the Providence Birth Center, she had supported me through the most intensive part of labor with sincere encouragements and clear guidance.  Without her support that day, my childbirth experience would never have been the positive and exciting experience as I tell my friends and family.

We have had our relationship since then and my child is now turning four.  I still look forward to the massage appointment I try to have bi-weekly.  Ms. Glennon’s massage gives me positive energy always and the easing of the pain from body parts (especially being a teacher who sits, walks, stands  around students  all day, I often have tired legs and intense shoulders).  It gives me relief of stress and peace of mind.

During my first pregnancy seven years ago, my Ob-Gyn, Dr. L. Wrigley, recommended massage therapist Holly Glennon to me. I was having some lower back pain during the second and third trimester and was advised that prenatal massages could help to alleviate the pain. I set up my first appointment with Holly and have used her services ever since. The massages were very relaxing, relieved back pain for four days at a time and Holly gave me great tips, such as how to properly support the belly and the rest of the body in bed, as well as how to turn or get up.

With my second pregnancy, the back pain came on much earlier and got much worse than with my first pregnancy. My pelvis had separated during my first child’s birth and it was separating again during my third trimester. I was referred to physical therapy and again encouraged to receive prenatal massages. Unfortunately, the physical therapy had no effect whatsoever on my backache and I soon stopped going. However, every massage with Holly brought instant pain relief that lasted for up to  a week and a half.

I am now pregnant with triplets and my body is facing a whole new set of challenges. While I am not yet on official bed rest, I do spend most of my days either laying or reclined, which leads to back pain. Walking is very painful, uncomfortable and often leads to contractions. Two of the triplets are lying transverse across my abdomen, one behind the other. This means that one of them is pressed against my spine, sitting right on top of my tailbone. Just two days ago, I had a one-and-a-half hour massage with Holly and for the first time in weeks, I can walk more normal and with hardly any back pain.

Mrs. Glennon has an excellent bedside manner. She is very calm and follows the client’s leads. She can carry on easy conversations during the massages and is also comfortable with silence if a client prefers to relax or even sleep.

I must admit that a friend of mine became a massage therapist in the last 5 years, yet I have never used her services. Since I have only had very positive experiences with Holly, I had no reason to try anybody else’s services. And as a very satisfied customer, I have recommended Holly Glennon to all of my friends during their pregnancies.
